Jacob Eriksen
 

Jacob Eriksen was born in 1965 and has grown up with music from the Beatles through Stan Getz to Greta Agatz(!).

Jacob began writing music at the tender age of 9, and after a period with the noise oriented Pushkin Brothers, joined Shirtsville in 1987, with whom he was nominated to a Danish Grammy for ‘Best Band’ in 1996.

More recently, Jacob has been writing lyrics for other artists, Eddi Reader, Søs Fenger. Nikolaj & Piloterne and Marie Frank (Nominated for Best Songwriter, 2000), to name a few. He has also written music for the animated movie “Help! I’m a Fish” (Nominated for Best Soundtrack, 2001).

In addition to music, Jacob is presently working on manuscripts for both movies and animated movies.

Jacob joined ROSA’s Committee in 1995, and became a MoB a year later. Since 2000 as DPA’s representative.
