LENE SKIPPER


Lene was born in 1975 in Terndrup. She grew up in the adjacent town of Mariager and further reinforced her schooling with a stay at a high school in Preston, Idaho. Then came her days in gymnasium in Hobro and a year in Brazil where Lene taught English to school children and later went backpacking.

In 1997 she moved to Århus where her choice of education was history at the University of Århus. With a bachelor degree in her bag, Lene moved on to Aesthetics and Cultur, in which she finished her masters degree. During her education she discharged a wealth of jobs and student jobs.

On the profitable side, she served as a nursing home assistant and service coordinator, while her music interest was furthered by volunteer work for Århus Festuge, the SPOT Festival and Morningside Records. She additionally worked as a booker for Århus Music Office (now Scandinavia) and a year-long effort at the venue Voxhall where Lene is on the pay-roll behind the bar.

At ROSA Lene takes care a host of tasks, from programme writing to volunteer coordination.
