Danish Roots welcomes two Danish roots bands that are already known by thousands of people around the world.

Afenginn's unique home-brewed style has been categorized as "bastard-ethno, with a sigh of Nordic melancholy and a twist of cheerful madness." They have now released their third album, Reptilica Polaris.

The Danish-Swedish band Trio Mio will visit Montreal in Québec, Canada, this summer. From August 8th to 10th they will perform at the 16th La Grand Rencontre Festival, which features a host of Québec and international artists to celebrate its theme this year of “Le Violon des Peuples (Fiddle for Folks).”  Trio Mio will also be touring in Germany and in Denmark.
