Karrierefornyelse
Karrierefornyelse is development project for experienced musicians and composers who wish to renew their artistic practice and career. The initiative combines financial support with mentoring, networking, and creative idea development.
Are you at a point in your career where you're looking to take a new direction – or perhaps apply your skills in new contexts?
Through Karrierefornyelse both individuals and groups can apply with a self-defined development project. ROSA offers grants of up to DKK 15,000 and provides support with planning and project management. You will receive individual mentoring as well as opportunities to share knowledge and experiences with other participants. The mentoring may focus on areas such as goal setting, networking, idea development, and clarifying your values and direction. The programme is open to both individuals and groups.
Applications for Karrierefornyelse 2026 are currently closed.
This programme is for you if you:
have worked professionally in the music industry for a number of years
are an established professional musician, composer, or music professional
see a need to renew or rethink your career
You apply with a project, which must be completed by the end of the calendar year. The project is self-defined and should be designed to help renew or develop your artistic practice and career.
ROSA will work with you on the planning and project management of your project and will provide a budget of up to DKK 15,000 to cover agreed project-related expenses. ROSA is able to support five selected projects each year.
Both individuals and groups are welcome to apply. As a mandatory part of the programme, participants receive individual mentoring tailored to their Karrierefornyelse-project and take part in a group session at ROSAs office in Aarhus, where participants meet to exchange knowledge, experiences, and ideas.
Individual mentoring may include topics such as:
Self-leadership
Habits and mindset
Goal setting
Time and task management
Skills and competency mapping
Values clarification
Idea development and networking
Idea development and networking may include:
Creative tools and methods for developing ideas
Design Thinking: How do you put the user or audience at the centre of your work?
How can you make better use of your professional network? Which networks should you strengthen or expand?
