Musik på Hjemmebanen
The project Musik på Hjemmebanen was created by ROSA in 2018. The project focussed on presenting music at community houses, places that would normally house birthday parties and bingo, but were now transformed into intimate concert venues. During the first year of the project the concerts were held in Aarhus and Aalborg. I 2020 it went national.
From the very beginning, Musik på Hjemmebanen was arranged in collaboration with BL – Danmarks Almene Boliger, resident associations and ROSA. In addition to creating new forms of venues, the project was aimed at presenting live music for people who in their daily life rarely come into contact with Danish produced music – and it gave them the chance to experience music in a safe and local environment.
During the years of ROSA's participation in the project musicians Ester Brohus, Ivan Petersen, Rasmus Nøhr and Signe Svendsen played concerts. In 2021, SPOT Festival took over the project.
