Levende Musik i Skolen

In 2023 the project 'Asbjørn SOLO' saw the light of day. The project is created in collaboration between LMS (Levende Musik i Skolen), the musician Asbjørn and Søstjerneskolen (a special care school in Copenhagen). With a specially developed preparation material it became possible for even the most vulnerable youth to attend the concerts.

Asbjørn performed at 25 schools across the country for small groups of students. After the concerts Søstjerneskolen, a school specialised in working with students with autism, has established student bands and a music studio. Musician Asbjørn Toftdahl calls SOLO "extremely necessary" and "the best idea ever" and he looks forward to more tours with SOLO.

LMS is currently working to develop this branch of SOLO with the aim of reaching even more specialised schools.
