Pop-Pilot Camp
For 11 years, ROSA's Pop-Pilot Camps gave young girls, transpeople and non-binary the chance to explore music – regardless of prior experience. The essence of Pop-Pilot was to strengthen the participants confidence in their own skills and pass on the joy of playing music.
The camp Pop-Pilot was aimed at young girls, transpeople and non-binary in the ages 13 to 20. The camps focussed on community, originality, empowerment and music – with no prior experience were required. The camps were made possible by experienced female musicians, who were able to meet the participants on their different levels and furthermore share their own musical journey.
ROSA arranged Pop-Pilot Camps from 2012 to 2022 at different locations in the whole country – and every year we send participants back home brimming with joy, musical experiences and lots of new friends. From the very beginning, Pop-Pilot was created with the purpose of making safe-spaces for the participants and to strengthen their confidence in their own creative and musical skills at a point in their life, where fundamental personal competences are formed.
