OPEN CALL: International SyncCamp

Are you a composer of contemporary and film music? And do you dream of working internationally with sync, film and commercials? Then this Open Call, on behalf of SPACe, might be for you.
Society of Polish Audiovisual Composers SPACe invites composers of contemporary and film music to participate in SyncCamp, which will be held in Sopot, Poland, 9-15th of November, 2025. There is one spot open for a Danish composer.
During SyncCamp, twelve Polish and six foreign composers will have the opportunity to work in teams of two or three, creating music for film scenes and commercials.
This Open Call is part of ROSA’s ongoing collaboration with the Polish music industry – a collaboration that seeks to strengthen and create long-lasting ties between the two sectors.

Four composition sessions from 10-14th of November, 2025
The opportunity to expand your professional network
Orders (briefs) from four music supervisors from Poland, Mexico and the US (Patrycja Bukowska, Patricia Carrera, Laura Katz, Mike Turner)
Networking and workshop day on 12th of November
Accommodation in DPT ZAiKS Sopot from 9-15th of November 2025
All meals
A free set of Bettermaker plug-ins for each participant
Requirements:
You are actively involved in creating music for synchronisation
You have experience with or a strong interest in sync briefs, scoring for media, or composing for audiovisual formats
You must organise your own trip to and from Sopot. The nearest airport to Sopot is Gdansk and from there you can travel onwards to Sopot
Transport is not reimbursed. It is possible to apply for International Transport Funding from ROSA, however funding is not guaranteed. You can read more about the rules of transport funding and how to apply here.
Deadline: 9th of October at 23.59.
Our subject committee will review the applications after the deadline, and you will receive a response thereafter, no later than 17th of October.
NB! We only receive applications in English.
